ONE BODY. ONE FUTURE.
An immersive art exhibition for peace.
WHEREVER A BULLET HITS,
THE WHOLE BODY FALLS.
In 2014, I created a photographic art series in which my own body became both Israel and Palestine.
One body. Two peoples. No separation.
WE ARE INEXTRICABLY BOUND.
The work was born from a simple recognition: when an Israeli is killed, when a Palestinian is killed, the wound does not end with one life.
It travels through families, communities, and generations.
We cannot heal one half of a body by destroying the other.
WE DO NOT LIVE BESIDE ONE ANOTHER.
WE LIVE INSIDE ONE ANOTHER.
1BDY brings these photographs into an immersive gallery experience, inviting us beyond opposing sides and into the recognition of our shared humanity.
WE ARE ONE BODY. OR NOBODY.
YOU ARE A CELL
IN THE ONE BODY
OF HUMANITY
Within each religion and nation, there are people ready for peace.
FIND THEM.
THE ONLY SIDE IS THE PEACE INSIDE.
What cell will you be?
